WILMINGTON RENAISSANCE CORPORATION
The July 12 progressive dinner has been postponed until the fall. Please check back for more information.
The Wilmington Train Station is in the midst of celebrating its 100th Anniversary! The first train left the elevated tracks of the station on January 28, 1907 and the station was fully complete and handed over to the railroad on July 8, 1908.
On July 12, FFRD will hold a 100th Anniversary progressive dinner with appetizers, dinner and dessert at each of the three Furness-designed buildings on the Riverfront. The appetizers will be at 6 p.m. in the B&O Water Street Ticket Station with Philly George Trio. The dinner will be served at the Wilminton Train Station at 7:45 p.m. with live music by Dennis Fortune and dessert in the Pennsylvania Buildiing at 9:15 p.m. with Dennis Fortune Trio.
The unique experience is a fundraiser for FFRD and tickets are $100.
