Student Art Contest

AIA Delaware and FFRD teamed up to conduct a student art contest. Thirty-seven pieces of artwork from students from seven Wilmington schools were submitted. Each is a personal interpretation of the Wilmington Train Station.

In 2007, the artwork was displayed at the Riverfront Market, the Delaware College of Art and Design, and at the Christina Cultural Arts Center. Four of the pieces were chosen to be converted to holiday cards that are available for purchase.

All of the artwork will also be converted into large vinyl banners to be installed on wooden panels along the train tracks at the Wilmington Train Station.
