This year, WRC and the City of Wilmington are bringing more events to the LOMA Design District. The district is located in the lower end of Market Street, from Martin Luther King Blvd. to 6th Street.
On Friday, July 11 and Friday, August 1, the LoMa Loop will bring artists, musicians and more to the lower end of Market Street for the Art on the Town loops. The art loop will be from 5 to 8 p.m. with an outdoor re:Fresh After Party on the 200 block of Market Street from 8 to 11 p.m.
The vanilla shells on the 200 block of Market Street will become art galleries, food and drinks will be available and Market Street will be lined with art vendors. Attendees will also be able to create their own artwork by painting on canvas at the event. The artwork will be displayed at the Aug. 1 LoMa Loop!
Attendees can also bring art supplies to donate to local organizations and senior centers that are in need of art materials.
In addition to art exhibitis and an outdoor art fair, DJs will provide sublte music during the art loop and then will switch it up to dance music when 8 p.m. hits.

LOMA was founded with a passionate pursuit of the following characteristics which we feel are critical to creating a vibrant, creative community in downtown Wilmington from 2nd Street to 6th Street.
The boundaries of the district are from Martin Luther King Boulevard to 6th Street.
